These are great little servos. I had been using some 5g servos from Hobby King for some sub 250g warbirds my friend and I are building and found the quality of these to much better and at about half the weight. As with any micro size servo they don't survive crashes super well but for the cost it is easy enough to just trow another one in if they do break. Also they are much smoother in action which is especially noticeable when used as a pan servo for FPV flying.

Servo Check
Hooked up the servos on arrival. Both ran smooth and will have sufficient power for the pull=pull system I will be using in a 36 inch Old Timer

Mr.
I purchased two ES9251 servos. They are indeed very tiny. One worked perfectly out of the box. The other however, would only run if no load was applied to the output arm. When a load was applied, the servo arm would stop while the servo motor would continue to run at high speed. I disassembled the servo to see where the drive train problem was. In this case all that was needed was to finish pressing the motor shaft gear the rest of the way down onto the motor shaft. Then it ran perfectly. The interesting case design does not use screws to hold the case halves together. Instead, the cases are so small that they are held in place by applying the identification sticker labels on each side of the servo and then slipping a flexible plastic strapping loop over the servo case.

These are great little servos. At first I hooked them up to my existing receiver with 6 volts and they were very jumpy and got a little warm. Thank goodness these little guys are tough. I didn't hurt them and at 4.8 volts they work perfect. I can't wait to get them into my airplane.
