The Emax MT2213 is a 1.9 ounces, 935kv 400-class outrunner brushless motor that is designed primarily for use on mulit-copters. The Emax MT2213 motor works well with 3 cell lipo batteries and can produce up to 23 ounces of thrust with an Emax 1045 propeller.
This version of the MT2213 motor is designed to spin counter-clockwise when used on a multi-copter.
The Emax MT2213 motor comes with two sets of mounting screws: four 3mm x 6mm machine screws are included for mounting the MT2213 on a multi-rotor frame, and four 3mm x 4mm machine screws are included for mounting the MT2213 on an x-mount, sold separately.
The Emax MT2213 motor features an integrated threaded propeller shaft built into the rotor and comes with a red aluminum prop nut. Please note that the propeller shaft and prop nut are threaded so that the prop nut tightens in a clockwise direction. This motor must be wired to rotate counter-clockwise; the clockwise threading of the prop shaft prevents the prop nut from loosening during flight due to propeller torque resistance. If the motor is wired to spin in the opposite direction of the one specified, the torque resistance may cause the prop nut to loosen and come off, resulting in loss of the propeller and subsequent flight failure.
