The Leopard Power 3536/8T is a 3.4 ounce, 960kv, 470 watt 10-class outrunner brushless motor that is well suited for planes weighing 25 - 65 ounces.  It is designed for use with 2 - 4 cell lipo batteries.  We recommend using a 40 - 45 amp ESC with this motor.

The Leopard Power 3536/8T is an excellent motor for the Multiplex Fun Cub, and will provide up to 4 pounds of thrust with an APC 12 x 6E propeller and 11.1v 2200mah 50C lipo battery.  Or, use the same set-up on the Eflite Timber for similar results. (video goodness:  https://youtu.be/rvNh5Rq_0L0)

Another great use of the Leopard Power 3536/8T motor is as an upgrade to the Eflite Valiant:  use the the motor with an APC 10 x 6E propeller, Sky Power 45A ESC with Switchmode BEC and a 4 cell 14.8v 2200mah 50C lipo battery.  This set-up will provide phenomenal performance on the Valiant, including unlimited vertical.  See the following video for a demonstration:  https://youtu.be/gMlazfuEz5E

The Leopard Power 3536/8T motor comes with 3.5mm male bullet connectors installed.  An x-mount is included for mounting the motor to a firewall, and a rotor end prop adapter is included.

The motor is designed so that it can be mounted either in front of a firewall (using the rotor end prop adapter for mounting a propeller), or behind a firewall (using a 4mm collet-style prop adapter, sold separately).

This motor is outstanding in my Timber. It's half the price of the stock motor, it's lighter, and according to my experience and ecalc.ch, it has more static thrust, more thrust at speed and yet yields more flight time. Flying for endurance with a 10x6, I cleared 16 minutes aloft with a 184g battery hauling two cameras, not bad! Another perk, the prop adapter is the right size to put on every prop I have (Master Airscrews, APCs) without having to drill or dremel. I suggest getting props of varying sizes for your intended needs (endurance, performance or a balance), though the 11x7 is maybe the best all-around for general flight.

Mr.
This is my first Leopard motor. So far I am very impressed. Has plenty of power. I ordered this because it was recommended with my Multiplex Fun Cub. It works great on the Fun Cub. The customer service from Heads Up is also great. Thanks Heads Up.
