The Leopard Power 3542/5T is a 4.76 ounce, 1080kv, 680 watt 15-class outrunner brushless motor that is well suited for sport planes weighing 3 - 5 pounds.  It is designed for use with 3 & 4 cell lipo batteries.  We recommend using a 40 - 60 amp ESC with this motor.

One excellent use of this motor is as a high-power upgrade for the Multiplex Fun Cub.  Outfitted with a 12 x 6E propeller on a 3 cell 11.1v 2200mah 50C lipo battery, this motor will produce about five pounds static thrust at just over 400 watts.  It will provide the Fun Cub with virtually unlimited vertical and excellent aerobatic power.

Doug S. used the 3542/5T in his Eflite Valiant, outfitted with an APC 11 x 7E prop and 3 cell lipo battery.  Here is Doug's video of the Valiant on floats taking off from water:

The Leopard Power 3542/5T motor comes with 3.5mm male bullet connectors installed.  An x-mount is included for mounting the motor to a firewall, and a rotor end prop adapter is included for mounting propellers.

I normally don't write reviews, but I have to with this motor. I put it in my old Parkzone P 47 after my stock motor quit. This motor makes the P 47 fly like a rocket with absolutely unlimited vertical performance, especially on 4 cell. It's also quiet and smooth. Seems to be a high quality product, much better than the stock motor I replaced. Also, the guys at my flying field are mainly into nitro; they couldn't believe the power and speed my little ole P 47 had.

WOAH
After Horizon's 960kv motor burned out at only 270W I put this on my 1.3M E-flite Valiant with a 10x7, pulled up the elevator, hit the throttle and holy moly with just a three cell it tore ass straight up into the sky. Insane thrust at high kv, can tolerate up to 700W, yet is only 20g heavier than the Horizon burnout motor. In order to revert to lower wattage stock behavior I programmed a mix on my tx to flip a switch to limit the throttle range. Though I ended up keeping the switch in rocket mode. Leopard is awesome!

Good value
This is the third Leopard motor bought as for me quality / price are important. Leopard quality can be compared to much more expensive brands.

Mr.
Loving this motor on my FunCub. Makes it climb like a rocket with power to spare. I should have bought this ages ago.
